| Welcome to the Hot Furniture Co’s latest news. This we hope will be every 2 months and as such should you have any comments, topics or input of any kind that you would like to feature, then please drop us a line. Firstly Darren and I would like to extend a huge thank you to all our customers, for initially having faith in our products and services/us and moreover for your continued support over the past 6 years. Equally we would like to thank also all of our suppliers, in particular Euroheat, for their help, products and services. New products for Season 2012/13This season all of our top manufacturers will be bringing out new stoves and appliances. There is a huge range now within our product portfolio from our key manufactures Hwam, Efel, Nestor Martin, and Rika. All four have new products. If this wasn’t enough we have added to our stable the Danish brand Wiking, with two core products (Miro 1 and 3) being at the heart of their range. Hwam continue to expand the boundaries of engineering and design to bring us a new range of stoves with a revamped product listing, giving each stove it’s place amongst a series. For example the start off model is the 2610 from the 2600 series, followed by the 3110 from the 3100 series. These models can be best described as contemporised versions of firm favourites such as the Vivaldi or Mozart. Hwam have introduced side viewing panels into the 2100 and 3100 series giving even more choice and flexibility. The Hwam range continues on through the 3400,3500 and 3600 series and all will be available to view in some form within the showroom over the course of the next few months. The Belgian stable of Efel/Nestor Martin continue to lead the market and have tweaked the Harmony, Stanford and Stanford SP stove families. They too have brand new stoves, the fantastic Efel Elgar C13 being our favourite. Nestor Martin have completely re vamped the range of inserts with new cleaner front face lines and more frame options. Again examples of the Belgian stoves will be arriving all the time into the showroom. The pick of the new stoves from Rika is the Imposa. Please also remember to ask us for any other stove that you might be interested in-we understand that there can be historical, sentimental and economical reasons at play in determining the stove that you would wish to purchase. ShowroomI often get asked about parking at the showroom and as such though it might be helpful to point out that there are free parking spaces just outside the shop. .....Site VisitsOnce a consultation has taken place either in the showroom or on the phone, the next stage is what we call a “site visit” whereby I come out to look at the specifics involved in the installation of the stove that you have chosen/like to have and the composition of the fireplace around it. This then produces the full detailed paperwork of what, why, how much and when that constitutes the quotation of works/estimate. Site visit appointments are generally 830am-1030am and 430pm-630pm Wednesdays and Thursdays and 830-1030 on a Saturday. Other evening or morning slots can be made available by appointment to suit. InstallationsMost customers come to us because we can look after every aspect of the supply and installation of the stove from consultation, design and implementation to firing the stove up with you at the end of the process. All in house. For years, our reputation has been built on this process and ability. This season we look to build on that. As part of the consultation process I will be offering more complete installation pictures in the showroom and on the website in order that you can better see what the end result will look like. We have a huge database of pictures of our finished jobs and more and more customers have asked to see them. This also helps to understand the nature of real installations in real homes rather than the rather inept photo shop brochures/online shots that abound. These give totally unrealistic impressions of what constitutes a good stove installation as well as dangerous ideas that would contravene the SBSA Building Regs. If you don’t see the shot that you think best reflects either what you have by way of a pre-existing fireplace, or in terms of what you would like the overall installation to look like, just let me know and I can pull a picture from the database for you. Service Work/ScheduleAs some of our customers will know, we offer a Sweep and Service, for £150 incl Vat, in order to keep your stove and chimney working well and within warranty, as well as giving us the opportunity to diagnose potential problems before the happen and help keep you on top of the various issues surrounding the use of solid fuel and chimneys. This normally take 90 mins to complete. We can really, due to manpower, only offer this during the months of April-September and cut off this year is strictly end September. If you are interested in getting booked in please call me at the shop for the next available dates. WoodOur wood supply partner, Certainly Wood, are again offering deals this summer. Head onto their website to get the latest. They, like us, are very keen to point out the benefits of planning ahead with wood supply. We will endeavour to keep a large running stock up t the yard as well as at the shop for this season. Many thanks for taking the time to read this newsletter. Don’t hesitate to contact me at the shop, on the mobile or by email for any assistance. Kind regards Nord Idessane |
